On my last flight, I was serving a couple in business class, and they were absolute pigs—mocking me the entire time. I could barely get through the flight, but I finally made it to my destination and breathed a huge sigh of relief. "I never want to see you again!" my mom screamed as my dad got into his car and drove away, leaving our home for good. That's literally my first memory. I was two years old when Dad left after a massive argument with my mom. They divorced, and he was just... gone. For years, I didn't see him at all.

As I got older, I started to realize it wasn't just life keeping us apart—it was my mom. When I was ten, I begged her, "Please, I want to visit Dad!"

Her response was cold: "No. He's busy with his new family and doesn't want to see you."

I spent my childhood angry at her, not really understanding why she kept me away from him. All I knew was that I couldn't wait to grow up so I could finally see my dad whenever I wanted.

It was a sunny afternoon in the park. Flowers, friends, and family surrounded me as I stood at the altar in my flowing white dress, moments away from marrying the man I thought was the man of my dreams.

Everything was set to be the most beautiful day of my life.

Suddenly, a little girl, no older than five, appeared. She held a bouquet of daisies in her tiny hands and looked up at me with wide eyes, asking for a coin. Tears welled up in Brenda's eyes.

"I'm so sorry, Anthony," she whispered. "I haven’t been honest with you..."

Before she could say more, Anthony's knees buckled, and he collapsed right in front of her.

As his co-workers rushed over to help, Brenda slipped out of the room, tears streaming down her face. There's no way I can hide the truth now, she thought.

That evening, when Brenda got home, Anthony was waiting for her in the living room. The weight of everything hit her as she sank onto the couch across from him.

MY STEPMOTHER AND HER DAUGHTERS KICKED ME OUT OF THE HOUSE AFTER HEARING MY FATHER FELL INTO A COMA

My dad NEVER believed me when I told him my stepmom and her two blonde daughters hated me. I always warned him that if anything ever happened to him, they'd kick me out THAT SAME DAY.

AND GUESS WHAT? That's exactly what happened. You won't believe this, but the day the doctor called my stepmom to tell her my dad had fallen into a deep coma, the first thing she did after hanging up was say, "PACK YOUR THINGS. YOU DON'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE."

They laughed at me while I packed my stuff, but little did they know, THE VERY NEXT DAY, when I came to "their" house, I'd be the one laughing!

It all started on what seemed like just another regular day. A man in his 30s named Paul knocked on my door and asked to meet my husband. I was a bit taken aback, but I invited him in and called Mike downstairs.
