I don’t even like maple. THE TASTE OF MAPLE. So why did I leave Traderius Joe’s with a four-pack of maple ice cream sandwiches?! 😭😂

Every time I go in there, I feel like they hem me up against the wall and convince me to buy something I don’t need OR want in my life.

Then I hear myself saying, “Big Momma, your arm!” 🤣 If you don’t know that Soul Food reference, you’re too young to hang out with me! That’s what comes to mind when I get heavy-handed with the seasoning or start thinking about all this sugar. We remember what happened to Big Momma’s leg. I’m trying to do better. I’M TRYING! 😩

I’m not going back to Traderius Joe’s until November. Maybe December. Yes, those four ice cream sandwiches came home with me, but I WILL NOT BE BACK. I don’t care what’s in there. I DON’T CARE.

There’s a difference between being home alone and being at home in PEACE. 🏡❤️

I spend A LOT of time at home, and I LOVE IT HERE! 😂 I rarely turn on my TV, and when I do, it’s one of the same four shows!

These days, I enjoy silence more than anything. Reading, writing, learning, reflecting, growing, and enjoying my own company. Some people may think I’m bored. Baby, I’m NEVER bored! 😂

I’m GRATEFUL! With so many people struggling to afford housing, God continues to provide a roof over my head and my son’s. That’s a blessing I will NEVER take for granted. 🙏🏾

And with this HIGH-ASS RENT, I’m enjoying EVERY square foot I’m paying for! 😂💁🏾‍♀️

I’ve intentionally created a home filled with LOVE, FAITH, PEACE, and ENCOURAGEMENT.

My walls are covered with scriptures, affirmations, and reminders—not just for me, but for my son.

When life gets difficult, I want him to look around and remember WHO HE IS and WHOSE HE IS!

We walk by FAITH, not by sight. — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Take up space! Stay disciplined! Stay organized! Respect authority, but NEVER shrink yourself because somebody else feels small.

Don’t allow people to humble you out of your confidence. Walk into every room God has prepared for you knowing you belong!

OVER HERE, WE UPLIFT! WE ENCOURAGE! WE CELEBRATE GROWTH!

I don’t care if you’re 17, 47, or 97. It’s NEVER too late to learn, grow, or pursue something greater!

My favorite reminder sits right at my front door:

“Walking Out Blessed. Walking In Blessed.” ❤️

That’s exactly how I want us to live. Grateful when we leave and grateful when we return.

My home isn’t a mansion, but it’s filled with things money can’t buy.

LOVE. FAITH. GRATITUDE. WISDOM. LAUGHTER. AND PEACE.

I’m not hiding from the world. I’m enjoying what God has blessed me with.

My home is my sanctuary, and I thank God for it EVERY DAY! 🏡🙏🏾❤️

I’ve learned too much, healed too much, prayed too much, and grown too much to let somebody’s inconsistency have me somewhere crying in the dark.

Now if you see me looking stressed, quiet, or a little irritated… check my bank account first. 😭😂💸
Or maybe my parlay didn’t hit. 😩😂🏈💵

Love should add to your , not have you fighting for your sanity.

Jonah 3:1-10 reminds me that God is a God of another chance. 🙏🏾

Jonah didn’t get it right the first time. He ran. He resisted. He had to learn the hard way. But God spoke to him again.

That part right there gets me.

Sometimes we mess up. Sometimes we move too fast, make the wrong choice, ignore what God told us, or find ourselves having to start over. But when God gives you another chance, don’t waste it.

Jonah went back, did what God told him to do, and because of that, an entire city had an opportunity to turn around.

So maybe the lesson isn’t just that God gave Jonah another chance. Maybe it’s that your obedience the second time can still bless somebody else.

If God is giving you another opportunity, another door, another assignment, another chance to get it right… take it seriously.

Grace gave Jonah another chance. What are you going to do with yours? ❤️🙏🏾
