How I Made My Friend 'Cry'

Not in the sense that people might think, so hear me out.

My friend and I have always been really close. My friend had always been “the big one in the girl-group”.

Her number on the scale started with 2 and she is around 5’4 tall.

Well, she wanted to do something about this, and has been eating healthy and walking 5 miles a day as a start for about 3 weeks.

I heard this for the first time when I was visiting her for the first time in around two months.

She was a little sad when she started talking about it, and said “yeah, and I know I am a failure because I have only shed 2 pounds in the 3 weeks eating healthy and walking….”

I was like "That’s god damn amazing, way to go! That's an awesome start!”

Her reaction was to look at me completely stunned for a sec and then just crying so hard. I was shocked and before I could say anything.

Then, she blurted "No friends has been other than dismissive of my effort, and even my mom laughed at me and sabotage my confidence"...

"you’re the first to say anything positive"...

I said: "Honey, I will always be with you unless you give up on yourself..."

The foundation of your life is determined by keystone habits.

My top three keystone habits.

- Reading & Applying nonfiction books

After I adopted the habit of reading and applying nonfiction books it was as if my life turned on a dime. I became more socially adept and found a new girlfriend. I learned how to build a business that while still nascent has made me money literally while I sleep.

The thing is I yielded all these results because I applied them.

- Working out Consistently

How would it feel if waking up looking like a model? How would it feel if bumping into ex and they can’t keep their hands off you? How would it feel if you had less pain, better sleep, more energy and more confidence.

That’s what this keystone habit does. We don’t even have to be good at it, just consistent and gradually we’ll pick up what everyone else is doing and start seeing results.

- Deliberate optimism

People that tell themselves they can do something, usually end up doing it.

If we don’t believe something is possible or not, if you start telling yourself something is possible eventually you’ll believe it and it will become possible.

To eat is a necessity,but to eat intelligently is an ART.
