One Day about 40 years later, someone told me that it was illegal to send seeds our of the USA, without permission from both countries.

I walked one Winter, in the pouring rain from one project door to the next, to get everyone to sign a petition to save the Watts Garden. The People told me - "Go Home Seed Lady, forget about that piece of dirt!!".
The State of California rejected Our Petitions and demanded 5 million. I remember the day 12 Police came to es**rt me off the property...

I bust up into Tim Watkins office and held Court.
The Garden is open today. It is called Mudtown Farms.
