The Writers Assistant Network is once again teaming up with Roadmap Writers for our 5th annual WAN Writers' Workshop. It's a FANTASTIC opportunity for ten amazing up-and-coming writers to workshop their material with top showrunners and other well-established creatives, then get read and likely REPPED by agents and managers at dozens of major companies.

Eight of the ten spots are assigned to writers currently working as writers’ assistants or other support staff on TV shows. Two spots are open to the general public -- INCLUDING PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE LA AREA. Each year we have had someone Skype in from afar, including from Mexico, North Carolina, New Jersey, Arizona, and New Zealand.

In just a few days the Writers Workshop deadline will be approaching for our 2020 spring workshop. Over the last 4 years, we've worked with some talented writers and we are confident everyone in our Winners Circle would agree that they received way more than they expected from the program.

For 11 weeks we meet at Phase Two in Culver City, where we work through two 2 hour sessions on Sunday evenings. We function as a writer's room, which is intended to help sharpen our writer's foundation for a future working as a television writer. The biggest benefit of winning a spot in our group is knowing that your work will be seen by managers and agents at the end of the program. In the 4 years, we've been running this program, we've worked with over 40 writers and more than half have reps and a large number of that half are currently working writers on various tv shows.
