In the busyness of life—and especially in times of caregiving, illness, or end-of-life—it’s often the smallest moments that carry the deepest meaning. A shared laugh, a hand held, the quiet comfort of sitting together in silence.
These little moments remind us that joy doesn’t have to be big or loud. Sometimes, it’s found in the softness of everyday connection.
As a death doula and estate planning attorney, I’ve learned again and again: we don’t need to wait for milestones to celebrate life. The small, ordinary moments are the ones that become extraordinary in memory.
