A Holiday Festival Filled with Music, Fun and Food.

Festival is free to the public and celebrates the Holiday season with The Fifth Dementia's; associated with UCLA music therapy group Music Mends Minds.org

Through music therapy, this group, The Fifth Dementia's is comprised of individuals with Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.

Tis the Season to Come and Celebrate the Music and Miracles that the Holiday Season Brings !

Entertainment program is music from : Winward School, The Fifth Dementia through www.MusicMendsMinds.org , Katherine Levin the Director of Music and Arts With the Brentwood Presbyterian Church. Choir . With Special Guest World Renowned Violist Dr. Ray Tischer.

Entrance is on the South East side corner of Bundy Dr and San Vincente.

Parking: Plenty of metered parking on San Vincente and non metered parking can be found on Bundy Dr. The church parking lot is off Bundy Dr. approx. 1/2 block south of San Vicente Blvd.

Music Mends Minds Inc. A Therapeutic and Intergenerational Band Project of Seniors and Students that aims to address early cognitive issues in elders.

It's the only place of its kind, on its scale, anywhere in the world. All of the residents have dementia. Everyone else, however, from the barber at the local salon to the chefs in the restaurants carry out their regular jobs in addition to being trained as specialized health workers.
We wanted to alert you to, and suggest you watch, "World's Untold Stories: Dementia village" on CNN International on Friday July 12 at 11.30 ET, Saturday 9 a.m. ET and 4.30 p.m. ET, and Sunday at 5.30 a.m. and 11.30 p.m.

We at A Family Affair Referral Service, LLC. Highly recommend the Beyond Alzheimer's Support Group that is co-facilitated by Patti Davis, daughter of former President Ronald Reagan and Dr. Linda Ercoli.
The support group meets every Monday night and Thursday night(excluding holidays) from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Mondays meeting is at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center 757 Westwood Plaza in Room 3-3102 in Los Angeles.
Whereas, their Thursday night meeting is in Santa Monica at UCLA Medical Center located at 1250 16th St, Board room G-210 in Santa Monica.
This support group has helped many families and caregivers of loved ones living with Alzheimer's, to understand the disease and to further understand how important it is for the caregiver to take good care of themselves in order to provide quality care.
