NEW FOOTBALL RULES FROM JUNE 1, 2019.
1) No more rebound from penalties:
This means that once a player takes a penalty, whether it hits the bar or the goalkeeper parries it, there will be no rebound from the taker or any of other player.
It would be a goal kick.
2) No more accidental handball goals:
This means that any goal scored after the ball had touched the hand either accidentally or deliberately, would be disallowed.
3) Substituted player can leave from anywhere:
This means that any player substituted during a game, does not have to exit the pitch at the half way line.
They can now exit from the closest area to avoid time wasting.
4) No more attacking team players in the wall:
What this means is that, whenever a wall is formed during a freekick, there will be no players of the attacking team in the wall. Only players of the defending team.
5) Red and Yellow cards for team managers:
What this means is that, team managers will from next season receive yellow and red cards just like players once they misbehave instead of verbal warnings and sent offs.
6) whenever the ball touches the referee, play would be restarted with a drop-ball.
7) Goalkeepers would be allowed to have just one leg on the goal line during penalty kicks.
The current rule states that a goalkeeper must have both feet on the goal line as at the time a penalty.
