If your favorite story – or your own story – was turned into a cafe, what would it look like?

If the StoryCoverse had a cafe, we think it’d look like this:
- Nuam-La garden (Children of Eldair) with Camphor Trees (Beneath The Camphor Tree) 🍃
- Basement: Subterranean-style decor, corner in Hell where Rangi and Valeria (Devil May Care) leisurely hang out, and a wolf den with canine plushies (After Honour) for sleepy nappers to recharge 🐺
- 1st floor: Creative lab with vTuber filming corner (I’ll Keep Your Secret) and windows shaped like comic frames (Boundless) 🎨
- 2nd floor: Space station for deep work (The Arrival), with round cushions representing different planets of Solar System Corp (Planetarium) 🪐
- Midnight Burger Menu (night breakfast will be served!)
- The Endless Song playing in the background 🎵

Second location under construction to house all the in-production stories coming to the platform!

Welcome, Subterranean’s official Story Artist, Bennee Greene! 🧑‍🎨🪲

After sifting through the Co/Create submissions, Subterranean creator has unearthed the perfect collaborator, whose art style perfectly fits the eerie, hidden world below.

“What really resonated with me about Bennee’s submission is the look of the underground world. It’s dark and mysterious, but also beautiful and kind of epic? One of the major themes of Subterranean is that there is still life in decay, and Bennee’s submission encapsulates that perfectly,” Alana shares 🚃

Bennee was drawn to Subterranean by its massive insects and secret, shadowy world in desperate need of a hero. “My favorite books growing up were Gregor the Overlander. This story is similar to it (I think). Also how it plays with the chosen one trope and gives us a VERY unexpected hero. It’s the kind of story I would read, whether I’m a part of it or not.”

Bennee envisions Greg as “a guy who’s very unassuming and would look kind of comical as the hero of a story without him looking like a caricature,” and has captured that brilliantly!

A big thank you to all the artists who shared their portfolios and friends supporting the story. Alana and Bennee are hard at work creating the first chapter, and cannot wait to soon show you a glimpse of the underworld 🐞🕳🚪

After reviewing ~200 Co/Create submissions, the creators of .official have welcomed the first 5 members of Planetarium’s official cast 🌙

Introducing… 🥁🥁🥁

🎙️Jessie Cheung as Luna
🎙️ as Sol
🎙️ as Terra
🎙️ as Mars
🎙️ as Venus

What’s special about this cast is the diverse backgrounds of the actors - some are professionals, some are hobbyists and some are even first timers! Their one common thread? All delivered performances that were, quite literally, out of this world 🌎 Congratulations to the Co/Create winners, and a big thank you to all the voice talents who took time to audition and support Planetarium.

Carrie and Balce are in the process of recording lines with Planetarium’s new cast, so stay tuned for new chapter releases with voice performances that will make you exclaim “By the galaxies!” as well as re-launched versions of previous chapters.
