This week for Throwback Thursday, we’re highlighting Chet Baker, one of the most iconic names in cool jazz. Known for his smooth trumpet playing and laid-back vocal style, Baker first gained recognition in the 1950s as a member of the Gerry Mulligan Quartet before launching a successful solo career. Songs like “My Funny Valentine” and “Let’s Get Lost” helped define his sound, and his influence on jazz can still be heard today. House of Sync represents the master recordings for his songs “Tune Up” and “My Old Flame”.

The House List is back with another staff pick we're excited about. This week, we're spotlighting Moody Joody’s single, "OOPS”, a fresh indie pop track about doing the wrong (or right?) thing when going out for a night on the town. Recently released on the band’s new EP, Suburbia, the song is Moody Joody’s first single from their forthcoming debut album, Plain Jane, arriving October 30th.

It’s the Disco.ac Indie Week After Party where our co-founder yojimbob19, the legendary rossrobey from KMG Distribution, and our new intern mattschneiderontheguitar is holding down the dance floor as they celebrate indie sync and the community that makes what we do so special.
