Happy 60th Birthday to the Hollywood Wax Museum!
Sixty years ago, a dream came to life in the heart of Hollywood, and today we celebrate an incredible milestone.
What began as a small attraction on Hollywood Boulevard near Highland Ave has grown into the longest running Wax Museum in the country.
Our Museum was born out of a passion for bringing fans closer to the stars they admired. We love creating lifelike wax figures and giving Guests the chance to be a star among the stars. We’re so fortunate to continue offering unforgettable experiences, laughter, and memories for families and fans of all ages. Plus, we’re proud to now have iconic locations in Myrtle Beach, SC; Branson, MO; and Pigeon Forge, TN too.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our 60-year journey—from our amazing visitors and dedicated staff to the talented artists who bring the magic of wax to life. Here’s to many more years of Hollywood fun!

Denver-based art fabrication studio Demiurge began installing our 55-feet tall, 34-ton stainless steel and painted carbon steel octopus today. The work is a result of great collaboration and a shared approach. We’re looking forward to seeing how this stunning piece of art wows visitors outside Aquarium at the Boardwalk.

Thank you to Crossland Construction and PGAV Destinations for collaborating with us to create an aquarium that will truly be a destination attraction for Branson. Looking at our progress, you can begin to imagine what the finished attraction will look like when it’s teeming with more than 200 species of ocean animals and offering plenty of fantasy and fun.

Aquarium Update: The concrete foundation for the Mermaid Palace has been poured. In this area, guests will enjoy tales of the deep with a real mermaid. We’re one step closer to opening in summer of 2020. www.aquariumattheboardwalk.com

Community giving is always top of mind at our Newbury Park, CA storage facility. This weekend kicks off our 12th annual Santa Days & Toy Drive. Guests receive free photos with Santa, and thousands of toys are donated to local families in need.
