I have to thank my teacher in all things to do with bees, Tony Batchelder. Tony has run his bee business, Tony's Honey for 40 years. It is obvious that losing over 1/2 of the bee hives in Maine through winter kill is not sustainable. The first rea

Constant hand washing and alcohol based sanitizer can be very harsh on your skin. We have a remedy! Bees wax hand cream provides a thick layer of restorative protection against chapping.

Real honey is a wholesome food with inherent antibacterial properties. (Hint: it's not the one you find in the discount store.) Get it from a beekeeper. 😉

It is supposed to warm up this afternoon. Time to make another inspection of the bee hives. So far so good. We will have 12 nuc's for sale this year. Honey is still in stock and we have a few 5 gallon pails full if you need to stock up.
