The Great Resignation is a battle that doesn't end when a new hire accepts an offer. We like the recommendation from magazine to make onboarding a priority:
"5. Be deliberate in your onboarding process."
One of the worst things that can happen to an organization is to lose a new team member because they are not onboarded in an organized way that sets them up for success.
