How long will it take us to lose our humanity?
Over the past two decades, every industry has become obsessed with improving processes and tools.
But...What about people?
Not resources or skill capital, like things you collect, but "People". They have families, emotions, goals, and are the most valuable part of any organization because of the amazing abiltity to apply critical thinking and naturally grow one another through relationships.
No matter how many algorithms are built, AI can never replace the one thing that human beings do best ... our natural instinct to connect with one another and innovate. When problems arise, we muster together our unique, authentic strengths to solve those problems, which has been the catalyst for our continued growth since leaving Plato's cave.
However, when designing organizational structures and systems, most companies simply offer a reimbursement to schools/training, meanwhile measuring human adequacy by how much we work and how well we followed the rules and our to-do lists.
Humans are a social species.
Without a sense of belonging and community, our ability to thrive is weakened. Just looking at the devastating increase in anxiety and depression since COVID, doubling year-by-year 😞, we are forgetting, and in some cases, deliberately discounting, the value of the human mind.
Every innovation that exists today was created due to collaboration to solve a problem.
How long before we start to forget how to socialize?
How long before we lose our ability to innovate?
How long before we forget humanity?
How long before organizations begin to realize this and feel the impact?
At Culture Byus, we design systems and support structures which include thencontinuous, sustainable growth of people, so that the 5th Industrial Revolution will not be OUR LAST.
