Directors’ Answering Service wants to send a BIG thank you to The Independent Funeral Group (TIFG) for putting on such an amazing show! 💙

From the beautiful venue to the thoughtful organization, everything was wonderful. We had such a great time connecting, mingling, and building relationships with fellow professionals in the funeral industry.

We were also SUPER excited that TIFG was the very first convention to hear about our new collaboration with DeathCall! We loved getting the opportunity to introduce what we’ve been working on and share how Directors’ Answering Service and DeathCall are coming together to better support funeral professionals and the families they serve.

Congratulations to the winner of our Life Straw giveaway, James Steele with Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. We hope you enjoy your gift! It was such a pleasure meeting you, and we especially loved hearing your joke of the day each day! 😊

We also had the privilege of sponsoring breakfast each morning! Guests enjoyed fresh fruit, savory breakfast treats, coffee, and juice. It was a wonderful way to start each day sharing a meal, enjoying fellowship, and connecting with fellow TIFG members before the day’s events began.

Lastly, we had the opportunity to hear Martin Jeffery speak about his journey in funeral service. He shared his experiences navigating sudden and traumatic deaths, funeral traditions, and the cultural differences within funeral service in Scotland. It was incredibly interesting to hear a perspective from outside the United States and learn more about how funeral professionals serve families across different cultures and traditions.

We are super thankful for another great convention, and are looking forward to seeing everyone's faces, and new members this time around next year!

ECA took on Baltimore! ✈️💙

We had an incredible time at ASTAA learning, connecting, and bringing home new ideas to help us continue moving forward as a team!

From discovering how we can make the most of AI in the answering service industry to strengthening our leadership skills, we walked away with plenty of new knowledge and inspiration. Our goal is always to keep learning, keep improving, and continue leading our team with a positive, growth-focused mindset.

We’re excited to take what we learned in Baltimore and put it into action at ECA! 💡📞

Directors’ Answering Service was proud to host Social Hour at the Mississippi Funeral Directors Association Southern District Meeting at Magnolia Café in Columbia, Mississippi! 💙

It was a great evening of conversation, connection, and learning alongside funeral professionals from across the district.

We also enjoyed hearing from Mike McCoy with Nunez & Associates. Mike shared insight into how their team works with funeral homes and families following unexpected losses, helping provide financial options that can allow families to make funeral arrangements with fewer immediate financial barriers. His presentation sparked plenty of great questions and conversation among the funeral directors in attendance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Social Hour and to the MFDA Southern District for bringing everyone together. We always appreciate opportunities to spend time with the funeral professionals we are proud to serve! ⚱️💙

25 years later, we remember a day that changed our nation forever.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the families who carry their memory, and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we never forget the lives, the sacrifice, and the strength shown on September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸
