We aren't a hospice group, but we work alongside many hospice agencies to help keep your loved one in the comfort of their home.

🫂 Home Sweet Home Cares & Services have experienced Caregiver Specialists that can spend 4+ hours with your loved one. This helps to provide one-on-one care during a sensitive and emotional time for your loved one and the family. 🩷

Here is what we can do...

- Help educate the family of how to provide care in our absence.
- Things to watch for when a loved one is transitioning.
- Provide personal cares such as: bed baths, peri-cares, oral care, change bedding, repositioning, emptying the catheter, and more.
- Advocate for your loved one and know when to call hospice
- Be a listening ear for your loved one and the family.

It takes a village sometimes and it is nice to know that you don't have to do this alone.

We work along side several groups that help elderly with in-home services. Some of those services might include:

-housekeepers (typically private pay)
-daily meal service (small fee or donation asked)
-home care (PT/OT, nurse, bath aide)
-hospice care/support services

Many of these outside services are available to come in for approximately 45 minutes to an hour or less. Their case loads are full and Medicare puts a limit on the amount of time they are seeing their patients.

Home Sweet Home Cares & Services is a private pay option to allow extra care in the home to help seniors stay in their home longer, work alongside groups, and be a help and support to our Clients and their family.

Sometimes it takes a village and having that love and support brings comfort to do many of our Clients!

Did you know???

Many facilities do not allow video recording devices in a Residence room.

This could be for several reasons like:

- HIPPA violation because other residents are allowed to wonder and could come into your loved ones room.

- Facility policy and rules.

- Privacy protection for your loved one because many private cares such as dressing and un******ng, pericares, and wound care expose nudity.

But... Did you know that if your loved ones have private in-home care, video cameras can be used if you and your loved one agree on this option and choice.

Video cameras in the home are helpful because...

- You can help monitor who is coming and going from the home.

- What type of help and cares are being provided.

- Safety for your loved one if they are by themselves or have people coming in.

- And, general peace of mind!

Home Sweet Home Cares & Services encourages families to consider cameras in the home. It is something I would want for my family and it does provide added peace of mind. Our Team of Caregiver Specialists find cameras in the homes they serve to be a good thing and not offensive to them. They like knowing that the family cares!
