🚨 Big change coming to Google Local Services Ads

If you’re a contractor or local service business using Google LSAs, this is something to pay attention to.

Google is moving Local Services Ads into the Google Ads platform and changing how these campaigns are managed.

A few things worth knowing:

🔹 Pay-per-lead is staying
🔹 Bidding and budget options are changing
🔹 Your Google Business Profile will connect directly to your ads
🔹 BBB callouts are going away
🔹 Your old LSA performance reports won’t carry over

To me, the bigger takeaway is that your online presence is becoming more connected than ever.

Something I’ve noticed talking with business owners is how many of them are paying for marketing but don’t really know what’s being done.

I think it should be pretty simple.

If you’re paying a company to help market your business, they should be able to show you where you’re at today, what needs work, and lay out a roadmap for where you’re trying to go.

Then actually show you the analytics along the way. 📊

What’s improving?
Are more people finding you?
Is your website getting more traffic?
Are you getting more calls or leads?
What’s working and what needs to change?

You shouldn’t have to wonder what you’re paying for every month.

Marketing isn’t always going to produce results overnight, but there should always be a plan, communication, and data behind what’s being done.
