I just received a message that was kind of rude, so I just want to clarify something: I do not kill, freeze, euthanize, or otherwise intentionally harm any of the specimens I work with.

I purchase the majority of my insects from a small oddity shop that advertises their specimens as ethically sourced, and they arrive to me already deceased. I also find some that are already dead outside. They are shipped to me, and I preserve and frame them.

Several of you that buy from me or know me personally know that I am very passionate about these beautiful creatures. For me, preservation is about appreciating the beauty and detail of them long after their natural lives have ended. I enjoy giving them a second life as artwork rather than treating them as disposable. οΏΌοΏΌ

I encourage anyone who has questions to reach out to me respectfully before making accusations. Thank you to everyone who follows along and supports my work! πŸ¦‹β˜ΊοΈπŸ©΅
