“A light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” (John 1:5)

This year at Realize, we’ve seen that light shining through congregations who are reimagining what’s possible with their church buildings and land.

A few highlights from our year:
✅ A simple “Seven Steps” cheat sheet to help leaders navigate church property transitions without getting overwhelmed
✅ Joining advocates at the Wisconsin State Capitol for the first Badger State Housing Alliance Advocacy Day on affordable housing
✅ Facilitating a panel at Neighborhood Economics in Chicago on church-owned property redevelopment
✅ Sharing St. John’s redevelopment story and lessons during Madison Housing Week
✅ Finishing a book (coming this spring!) that weaves together practical tools, theology, and personal stories about God’s presence in seasons of change

We’re also looking ahead to 2026, including a workshop at the Generosity Extravaganza in Pennsylvania and new partnership work at the intersection of church property and finance.
