Have you heard about our new program just for teens? Here are some of the details about our new Teen Open Studio program starting this Fall. This program will run in 8 weeklong quarters with artist participation in our end of quarter art shows. This program will be happening on Fridays 4:00-6:00 starting September 18th. We are super excited to launch this fun new opportunity for teens⚡️

We are so proud of our talented and devoted team of teachers at MSA and we would like to take this opportunity to introduce our expert in ALL things art-Gia! Gia came to MSA one year ago offering to help out with our clay programming. Gia is a life-long potter and so incredibly gifted in working with children. Gia has grown with us, now assisting with four weekly lessons as well as camps.

Having the wealth of knowledge and diversity of skills available to our student with Gia in the studio is an absolute gift! So if you see this friendly face at the studio please say hi😄 And if you have a lingering art question on your mind, seek Gia out, she’s a brilliant resource!

👋Join us for a studio open house specially designed for homeschool families!

Learn all about our weekly homeschool art programs for kids ages 6-17, view student work, see the space and get questions answered by our exceptional teaching staff. Mill Studio Arts offers the best in arts education and enrichment for kids in southern Maine. Come see where creative minds thrive!

Open house will be from 10:00-12:00 on June 19th, current and prospective families are welcome!

🗓️ mark you calendar! We are excited to share that, in addition to all of your favorite MSA lessons, we will be adding three new offerings this Fall:

🏺We’re adding a second level of Clay for kids, allowing us to break up age and ability for more targeted instruction.

🙌NEW-Clay Play, a specifically Clay based Little Art Explorers program for 3-5 year olds.

And…

🖌️NEW-Teen Open Studio, a weekly self-directed two hour session at the studio with friends! Open studio kids get to choose the materials they work with the entire studio at their fingertips. The lessons are teacher supported, but 100% student directed. Think independent study meets art studio meets hanging out with your friends IRL, that’s our vision🤩
