A seriously fun night celebrating the US launch of CultX by Cult Wines🥂 Great people, great energy, and a pretty spectacular lineup of w**es. Highlights from the tasting included 2006 Pol Roger Winston Churchill, 2017 Fourier Charmes-Chambertin and 2016 Gaja Sperss (magnum) — go big or go home. I’m especially excited to start playing with the CultX and exploring what it brings to the world of fine w**e collecting, buying and trading. And then there was the welcome box… not exactly your average party swag. I scored half bottles of 2017 Massolino Barolo, 2017 Antinori Tignanello, 2017 Drouhin Nuits-Saint-Georges Damodes, 2014 Sena and 2010 Château Rauzan-Ségla.🍷Huge congratulations to the Cult Wines team on bringing CultX to the US. If this launch party is any indication, we’re in for some fun.

Good friends, a great restaurant, and some very special bottles. 🥂 Pascaline Lepeltier Virginie Rolland Selection jamiesahara 😍 1990 Krug: magnificent with age; layered, complex and still incredibly vibrant, with that unmistakable Krug depth and elegance. 2009 Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques: pure, perfumed Burgundy with beautiful energy, silky texture and the kind of finesse that makes Clos St. Jacques so special. 2018 PYCM Corton-Charlemagne: rich yet beautifully focused, with incredible minerality, tension and length. A stunning expression of one of Burgundy’s greatest whites. An exceptional lunch with Lacaraf surrounded by some of the w**e industry’s finest. Watching every bottle served at its ideal temperature was a reminder that precision matters. When temperature is always right, every w**e has the opportunity to express itself exactly as the w**emaker intended, or even better, the way YOU like it! Never again pouring the last glass and feeling like you wish it was cooler, never again going back and forth to your refrigerator or ice bucket. Just simply setting and forgetting.
