Hear about how important an alive day is, how one veteran shaped a team that helped thousands of soldiers overseas ,the stories of an Amry Ranger and what its like starting basic training.
Veteran Voices gives Veterans an opportunity to tell stories of their choice in their own words on their on accord.

Boxing training these last few months has been so awesome , great workout and way to get some stress out.
Really looking forward to bringing some Veterans to the gym here to train with MMA champ and really great guy Jimmy Rivera on August 25th at 1130am! Please hit me up if you are a Veteran who would like to train that day. Hot food will be served after.
Big thank you to the local PD for allowing me to train with them. EPPD truly has a great police department.

This amazing group has given away and continue to give away hundreds of thousands of meals, groceries and toys to anyone in need to include many Veterans in our NJVN programs! Strangers Helping Strangers is a group who help prop-up humanity. In these difficult times the SHS help find innovative ways to answer new problems society faces.Led by Chris Braitsch the SHS creates weekly drive up pop up markets where they give away everything from hot meals to groceries, toy drives for children and much more... while having fun doing it.

So please join Local Legends hosts Daniree and Dro as they interview Chris and we learn a little more about how Strangers can help Strangers just to lend a hand.

Chris Braitch is the president of Strangers Helping Strangers a non profit that amongst other things helps distribute free food to local first responders and local people in need. This has included dozens of Veterans in NJVN programs.Every week hot meals, produce and groceries are handed out by his team to anyone who could use it.
