I have some great men in my life who served this country proudly, risking their life for freedom.
Other men I never had the privilege of knowing because of their courage to stand up for something they believed in.
My father in law Luke Dollar and my grandfather Art Warren are two of these magnificent men.
Memorial Day might have been a day to honor those who have fallen and those who have served but the real honor for me is the real life example this sets for these beautiful girls of mine to always stand up and fight for what is biblically right and that the price for freedom is death. And Jesus paid that price. He died for our freedom.
It may not be Memorial Day as I write this post but it’s a sacrifice worth remembering every day.
As this country changes, trying to take our freedom in so many ways, I praise God that the past cannot be undone!
Thank you Jesus and thank you to all who sacrificed your life for this country. 🙏🏻

In 2020 I started a family gratitude board for the year. Instead of trying to remember everything that happened at the end of the year, I wanted us to be acutely aware of God’s faithfulness and goodness at all times.

I’ve been reflecting on that board this week, amazed at everything God has done.

Sure it has been a hard year. Economic changes, spiritual attacks from the enemy, fear, anxiety, uncertianty... I don’t need to go on, you’ve lived it too.

My #1 commitment to the Lord this year was to be more obedient to the calling of motherhood.

That one commitment to the Lord back at the beginning of the year catapulted success in every area of my life.

But success doesn’t come without growth and hardship. And I have needed massive STRENGTH.

While I’m grateful for so many things, the one thing I am most grateful for right now, in this year, in this moment, is the STRENGTH that comes from my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

This gratitude board is proof of God’s goodness no matter the circumstances and how HIS strength has impacted our faith & faithfulness to HIM.

And there is no better gift I could give my family. ❤️

Ever wondered if it's possible to build a online business without relying so heavily on social media?

Heather here and for years this question crossed my mind.

I had a thriving Facebook™ community of amazing women who I wanted to serve...

but I was over Facebook™.

I wanted to serve them but I did not want to serve them through Facebook™.

I don't know about you, but my head feels like a pretty busy place most days...

-Did I pack my husbands lunch?
-What time is my son's Zoom class again?
-Is the laundry still in the wash or did I get it to the dryer this time?
-Ugh, I HAVE to get that back to my client today!
-Why is the fridge empty again? Didn't I JUST go to the store?!
-Do all the kids have their masks before they head out for their Karate lessons?

Add to that about a thousand additional thoughts, safety concerns, and "To-Do's" and you probably get a pretty good idea of the current mindset of a working mom in today's Pandemic-crazy world.

Once upon a time I said I would *never* homeschool. But one week into the quarantine the Lord changed my heart. I’ve learned that when the Lord tells me to do something there is a great reward attached to the end.

Savy started Classical Conversations on Friday and her first day as a homeschooling 1st grader today! And she loved it! 💞

I honestly had no idea how I was going to homeschool and work from home at the same time because it was so different than what I was used to but the Lord worked it all out. (Again... the power of obedience ☺️)

I’ve been able to build a six figure business while the kids have been home full time, we’re helping lots of other women get set up for six figures in 2021 and I’m in the process of setting up a Social Media Marketing Agency...

All while I had no idea how the heck I was going to work while homeschooling! 😂

I learned a long time ago to give up the how and just trust God. The best things in my life have happened from giant leaps of faith in obedience to the Lord.

I’m so thankful for the Lord’s provision in every area of my life!
