As Summer Reading 2022 draws to a close, MCL wants to express our thanks to this season's Summer Reading event hosts and guests.

Thanks so much to our hosts at The HUB Recreation Center, The Pavilion Events, Marion Cultural and Civic Center, The City of Marion Illinois, Mandala Gardens, Extreme Kids, Aspire Yoga, and Emery Brothers Skating Rink.

We're so grateful, as well, for guest speakers and presenters who have helped MCL's summer events be all they can be. Thank you to Marion High School Athletics, La Galeria Mexican Cuisine & Creamery - Marion, Lavish Bath Box-Marion Square, Shawnee Stems, Friends of the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, and the Marion Garden Club!

But don't worry - Summer Reading isn't over yet! Keep an eye on marioncarnegielibrary.org/events and watch for all the great events and programs MCL has to offer!

Good evening, WE ARE CLOSED July 9-August 10th.
We have a few vacations coming up (including meeting our sweet new niece and the wedding of a dear friend) and won’t be able to take any orders during this time.

Friendly reminder that our orders close each week Wednesday at midnight.
Fourth of July orders are coming quick, we had lots of last minute inquiries for Father’s Day and while I hate to turn folks away we were very busy with orders and couldn’t accept last minute ones. Please get your fourth orders in ASAP! We have opening in the afternoon for one more grazing table on the 4th, and room for two on the 2nd but I suspect those will book quickly.
