Merritt & Grace Photography Your Midwest Michigan Destination Photographer I am back and ready to capture memories and pause time in this busy inpatient world.

My name is Sarah, I’m a daughter of the one above, a wife, mother, nurse, Hunter, outdoor lover, homebody, cooking enthusiast and out of joy a photographer! Here is a little about me:

The fall has me outside with my husband upland hunting, winter I am indoors mostly � but I am taking up cross country skiing, summer we love beaching it up, gardening, and chasing adventures, springtime I am readying my garden (my happy place)! Photography has been in my heart for since I was 14 years old when I got my first manual Nikon camera (I am 38 now), I started my business 15 years ago with a break until 2022. I made a major move with my husband to the UP from the metro Detroit area, went to nursing school and had both my babies during my break. I am looking forward to what is to come and appreciate everyone that trusts me to do just that for them �

What a whirlwind these past few weeks have been! I’ve been blessed with so many sessions, and we’ve been rewarded with some of the most beautiful weather!

My busy season has officially slowed down, and I’m working hard to get caught up on my backlog of galleries as quickly as possible. But before I get too far into editing, I wanted to take a moment to thank every single person who has stood in front of my camera this year.

My creative cup is officially overflowing, and that brings me so much joy. Thank you for trusting me to capture your families, your milestones, and these little moments that mean so much. I never take it for granted, and I’m so grateful for every one of you!

Stay tuned because after this weekend, I’ll be announcing my holiday sessions! Some will be Pay What You Can, and others will have scheduled booking times. I can’t wait to share what I have planned!

I am so excited to say that I am fully back up and running and I am working really hard. I’m cranking out these galleries! My laptop is still at 9:06 getting repaired but I just set up my new Mac and it is working out wonderfully thank you to all of my absolutely wonderful clients for all your patience and all of the love that you guys have given me this year especially in the last couple weeks!!

The last week and a half has felt like the Twilight Zone. I got my laptop back… only to have to send it right back. On top of that, both my father and father-in-law had heart attacks, and yesterday we had to say goodbye to our ole lady 15-year-old dog. Needless to say… UGH. 😭

It has been A LOT, and I’m so incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding while I navigate everything and continue diligently working on getting your galleries finished and delivered.

Please know I haven’t forgotten about you or your beautiful memories. I’m working as quickly as I can while also taking care of my family and trying to keep my head above water.

Thank you for being the most understanding clients and for giving me the grace. I love and appreciate every single one of you more than you know. ❤️
