The Archive has been quiet lately, but the Stupid Ex-Husband has never done very well with silence. So naturally, he armed our child with a cursed artifact to bestow upon me this morning.

Tell me why Tactical Landscaping LLC felt my Mother’s Day card needed:

waterproofing
glitter
and an apparently immortal sound chip

It is currently in freezer jail while the dogs try to figure out why there’s a man trapped in the freezer and what crimes he committed to end up there.

I think Lyra is mostly hoping he tosses out frozen beef.🥩

Nym’s sigil moment from the novella hits a little different now.

She gets to live forever in the archive and bring laughter and joy even when she’s gone. And that’s pretty freaking special. One of the best ways to honor her I think. 💚

Back in the Archive this week. Feels a little like home, but at the same time not quite the same without her foot’s steps right above me.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Nymphadora.

The page has been incredibly quiet lately, and with good reason. We spent the last two weeks doting on the most loving and loyal spirit. Nymphadora loved without hesitation and was responsible for 90% of our grays in addition to 90% of the noise within these walls.

It is not the same without her. She will always live not just within our hearts, but within the Archive and the novellas that tell its story.

We know many of you grew to love her through her novella character and the anecdotes shared here on the page, so we felt it was important to share the news.

Please bare with us as we grieve, especially me. She was a part of my soul. She was my shadow.

We may have a zoo here, and I love each and every single one of our babies, but Nym and I had a very very special bond that was unlike the others. I truly believe our souls were entwined in a way that some are never even lucky enough to experience.

My heart hurts.

Good Morning from the Cove’s biggest sweet potato! 🥔🐾

Hope everyone’s week is going well! Today is extra special around here as we celebrate 15 years of me being a mama.

Help me wish the kid (the human one) an extra special birthday today! She’s with her dad, so we’ll celebrate this weekend with a homemade meal, cake of her choosing, and kidnapping her best friend (with permission from his mom, of course 🤣).

Go have fun today! It’s required.

Me: hungry and should probably make some breakfast. Bowl of cereal it is.

Me 45 minutes later to the dogs: I know you’re hungry and breakfast is a little late, but mama is making you herb infused veggies.

Priorities appropriately delegated on this beautiful Saturday at the Cove. 🤣

How’s everyone doing today? Drop your spoiled critters in the comments! Dogs, cats, goats, chickens, cows, snakes. If it eats and has a name, it counts. (Be nice, no spouse pictures! 🤣)

We love farm animals over here. But alas, we have a townhouse so for now the closest I get is Luna the House Horse 🤣

When I drive the kid to school in the morning we have our routine: I drive. She DJs.
She always asks, “What’s our vibe?”
Today I said, “Mom’s not medicated or caffeinated. Is that a vibe?”
She replied, “Yes, yes it is.” And then nodded to this screen 🤣

Fasting tests are done.
Monster was waiting in the car like a loyal little soldier.

If the pages are quiet a bit lately, we’re still here. We’re just delegating our energies where they’re most needed right now. 💚

Love the light that got put on the Archive shelves the other night! It brings the focus to center shelf which has a lot of my favorites/nostalgic titles.
I know that many have strong opinions on the author of the top series and, in turn, believe the series itself should be boycotted. I, in no way shape or form, condone or support the beliefs of the author.
However, this series got me through a lot of incredibly hard times in my childhood, and for that, it will always hold a very special place in my heart. That copy of the deathly Hallows was the one I stood in line for hours to purchase on the night of the midnight release 💚
