Here's the post I'd pair with it

đź’™ Nonprofits are an important part of every strong community.

When people hear "Our Business Alliance," they sometimes assume we're only about businesses.

The truth is, our mission is much bigger than that.

Strong communities are built when businesses, nonprofits, professionals, community leaders, and residents work together.

Businesses help create jobs and invest in our local economy.

Nonprofits meet needs, serve families, support important causes, and improve lives every single day.

Neither can do everything alone.

That's why one of the goals of Our Business Alliance is to help strengthen the relationships between all of them.

When businesses support nonprofits...
When nonprofits connect with local businesses...
When communities work together...

Everyone benefits.

Communities become stronger when people choose to work together.

👇 Tell us about a nonprofit that has made a difference in your community. We'd love to hear their story!

📍 Experience Tuesday

Last week, I mentioned that we were planning to visit The Armory in Maryville for our first Community Experience.

Life had other plans, and because of some personal commitments, we weren't able to make it.

The good news is... we're going this Saturday!

We'll be experiencing The Armory just like any other customer would. No behind-the-scenes access. No special treatment. No interviews. Just an honest experience from the perspective of someone visiting for the first time.

Then, next Tuesday, we'll share our Community Experience with all of you.

And that's where you come in.

👇 Beginning next Tuesday, we'll be asking for your recommendations on where we should experience next!

We'll leave the suggestions open from Tuesday morning through Thursday evening, then we'll choose one and head out that weekend to experience it ourselves.

Whether it's a local restaurant, coffee shop, attraction, nonprofit, park, or hidden gem, we want to discover the places that make our community special—one experience at a time.

So start thinking...

Where should we experience next?

Communities become stronger when people choose to work together.

đź’ˇ Community Tip of the Day

One of the easiest ways to strengthen a community is simply to be part of it.

This week, I want to encourage you to attend a local community event.

It might be a farmers market, a festival, a charity fundraiser, a concert, a youth sporting event, or a community celebration. Every event is an opportunity to meet new people, support local organizations, and experience what makes your community unique.

When we show up, we support more than just an event—we support the businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, and community leaders who work hard to bring people together.

👇 What's your favorite annual event in our community? Share it in the comments so others can discover something new to experience!

âť“ Community Question

As we continue building Our Business Alliance, we're receiving some great questions from people who want to understand how the organization will work.

Today's Community Question covers two of them:

Who decides who leads each local chapter?

Will every chapter be exactly the same?

One of the things that makes Our Business Alliance different is that we believe communities should lead communities.

National exists to provide the technology, training, governance, and support, but local chapter leadership should be chosen by the people who are actively involved in their own community.

We also believe every community is unique.

While every chapter will share the same mission, values, and organizational standards, each chapter should develop its own personality, traditions, events, committees, and community partnerships based on the needs of the people it serves.

After all, what works in one community may look very different in another—and that's a strength, not a weakness.

If you have a question about Our Business Alliance, we'd love to hear it. Your question might be featured in a future Community Question video!

đź’š Positive Wednesday

There's plenty of negativity in the world.

Today, let's do something different.

Let's take a moment to recognize the people, businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, teachers, first responders, and neighbors who help make our communities a better place.

Sometimes all it takes is a kind word, a recommendation, a thank-you, or simply letting someone know they're appreciated.

Small acts of encouragement have a way of spreading farther than we realize.

👇 Today's Positive Wednesday Challenge:

Give a shout-out in the comments to someone, a business, or an organization that has made a positive impact in our community. Let's fill the comments with reasons to celebrate the people who make our hometown special.

📍 Introducing a New Series: Community Experiences

One of the best ways to strengthen a community is to experience everything it has to offer.

Every week, I'm going to visit a different local business, restaurant, nonprofit, attraction, park, or hidden gem right here in our community. My goal isn't to write reviews or rate businesses—it's simply to experience them, share what I discover, and encourage others to get out and explore the places that make our community unique.

This week, I chose the destination myself to kick off the series.

But I need your help!

👇 Where should I experience next?

Tell me about your favorite local business, restaurant, coffee shop, nonprofit, park, attraction, or hidden gem in the comments. I just might feature your suggestion in a future Community Experience.

Let's discover our community together.

đź’ˇ Community Tip of the Day

Did you know that many new businesses never make it through their first few years?

Supporting our community doesn't always require doing something big. Sometimes it's as simple as choosing a locally owned business, recommending a business to a friend, or leaving a positive online review.

I know it isn't always possible to shop local every time, and sometimes locally owned businesses can't match the buying power of the biggest national chains. But these aren't just businesses—they're our friends, our family, and our neighbors. Their businesses help make our community special.

Every purchase, every recommendation, and every positive review is an opportunity to strengthen the place we all call home.

Communities become stronger when people choose to work together.

👇 What is one local business you enjoy supporting? Give them a shout-out in the comments so others can discover them too!
