Following up on the colorful, joy filled wedding I posted yesterday. I’m trickling in some details today!

I love a good artsy moment, and this couple had plenty. The bride hand dyed the bottom of her wedding dress and it turned out so pretty. She also painted her own table numbers, and each one had a different painting quote on it. I had to photograph every single one.

There were so many more details from this day, but Instagram only lets me post so many photos at once, so I had to narrow it down.

Two of my favorite things at a wedding are uncontrollable joy and sneaky happy tears. This one from last September had plenty of both.

I’m honestly terrible at social media, so a lot of weddings and sessions never make it here. But I couldn’t let this one sit in the archives. I was going through it the other day because I had an inquiry for a Maumee Bay wedding, and reliving it made me so happy.

These two love each other in such a pure way. You could see it in every moment and on every single person there.

I have so many favorites that they didn’t fit in one post, so part two is coming!

When Haley texted asking if she should wear a red dress to their engagement session, my first instinct was to say it might not fit the vibe. But after thinking about it, I told her that if she felt confident in it, that was what mattered most and the red could be a fun pop of color.

What I didn’t expect was the sky to be filled with those thick blue clouds that made her dress look SO good.

Toby and Megan’s wedding at had the best energy. Megan is one of those people who thinks of everyone, and she came prepared with the sweetest gifts for some of her vendors, including a whole Portillo’s cake for the incredible .

They chose to skip the wedding party, and honestly? It created the most intentional, unhurried vibe for the day and they still found the most beautiful ways to honor the people they love most. More on that soon because this wedding has so many special details that deserve their own moment.

May, we made it. Genuinely glad that one is behind us.

June is already looking good and I am here for it!!
