Join us for the 4th Annual Engine Company Operations class November 7th.

We are adding live fire evolutions this year!

We will be covering attack packages, hose loads, hose deployment, hose advancement, and fire attack.

We will have hose from Key Hose, Snap-tite Hose, and Mercedes Textiles. We will have nozzles from HEN Nozzles, Elkhart Brass, Task Force Tips,and Akron Brass.

This is a great opportunity to try out different products and see what works for YOU.

$35 includes registration and a T-shirt, and CE hours will be awarded upon completion of the class.

Snap-tite Hose & HEN Nozzles making it rain.
We get asked about the snap-tite hose pretty often, and unfortunately haven’t had much experience with the new stuff. Thanks to Tim Clark Atlantic Emergency Equipment for getting us the hose so we can make informed comments and recommendations when the topic arises.
So far, the Supreme II paired with the Blade 175-t is a great match, and the hose folds FLAT, iykyk.

Locally, it seems more departments are switching to the minuteman load, and we often get deployment or loading questions from the new users. We will be starting a video series on different methods of deployment, and different ways of loading it depending on the sizes of the hose bed.
