The heart behind the hill.
Celestial Hill began with a shared vision from Chris and Melissa Thomas: to build something of their own, rooted in this land, and to make w**es that reflect the place they call home.
That vision is still very much part of everyday life here.
Chris can be found pruning in the vineyard, working alongside the crew at harvest, checking in on the animals, and, more often than not, sitting down with guests for a tasting at the estate.
That last part is especially important to him. A tasting at Celestial Hill isn’t meant to feel like a traditional tasting room experience. It’s a chance to slow down, taste the w**es where they’re grown and made, and hear the stories behind them—often directly from Chris himself.
So today, we’re celebrating Chris and the energy, hard work, and hospitality he continues to bring to the vision he and Melissa started together.
