This is something I have been aware of for many years—and intuitively, perspicaciously, so have you! Everyone knows the phrase “Karma is a Bee-atch!” or “What Comes Around Goes Around” and lastly, for us “Bible-thumping Religious Zealots”: “Venengeance is mine Saith the LORD!” So, as my HS buddies and Authors Beth and Bobby Dodd (siblings) have so adroitly articulated in their books “Laughter is an Instant Vacation” and “The Power of Three” (on Amazon now!), “”Be the better person” and let insults go; for, if you retaliate in kind (verbally or physically like I was always prone to do!) you will indeed pay a price somewhere down-the-line in your life… and be reminded of how the other person felt when you did, in the next!
