Last week, AF HR Solutions had the opportunity to facilitate a DISC Flow® workshop, creating space for leaders and teams to better understand themselves and one another. 💙

This past Saturday we had the honor of facilitating a LEGO® Serious Play® workshop with the amazing team at NIDEC Motors in Senatobia, Mississippi. 🌟

No slides. No presentations. Just hands, bricks, and real conversation.

Every person at the table built their story and together, they created a clear, meaningful, and shared sense of who they are as a team and where they are going. 🤝

Did you know that Generation Alpha will begin entering the workforce around 2030–2035? 🌐

Preparing future leaders begins long before their first job. Leadership starts early when children are given the space to imagine, build, and work together.

Today, our founder had the opportunity to collaborate with Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) as part of their STEM program, serving students in grades 3–5.

We elevated this experience by using LEGO® pieces not only to explore STEM concepts, but also to strengthen teamwork and leadership skills. Through hands-on building, children practiced essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity, collaboration, and confidence skills that will shape the leaders of tomorrow.

We love using LEGO® pieces in our workshops because they are highly adaptable across different generations, teams, and objectives. 🧱

Grateful to Capricious Westbrook, Candice Lucas and Ericka Hughes, B.A., MHA, MBA for the collaboration and for trusting this experience to plant the seeds of conscious leadership early.

We ended the workshop inspired by the students’ smiles, creativity, and the lessons they explored together. ✨

3 mitos sobre la Generación Z en el trabajo:
🚫 “No tienen compromiso.”
🚫 “No les gusta seguir instrucciones.”
🚫 “No duran nada en los empleos.”

Estos son algunos de los comentarios más comunes que escucho cuando acompaño a líderes de distintas industrias… pero la realidad es otra. 💡

✅ La Generación Z no es que no tenga compromiso, es que busca un propósito.
✅No huye de la autoridad, huye de la falta de claridad y coherencia.
✅Y no cambia de empleo por capricho, sino porque busca entornos donde se sientan vistos, valorados y escuchados.

Lo que esta generación busca son líderes auténticos, coherentes y flexibles, capaces de conectar desde la empatía y la claridad, no desde la imposición.
