This September, I accepted a digital copywriting position with an advertising agency in downtown Memphis. While I’m sad that my time in restaurants has come to a close, I’m so excited for what that means I’ll be able to create for Best Shot Co. and the Boozehounds!

The new summer menu at Acre () is live and delicious! This menu is all about giving the whole what they want for summer: we have vodka! Watermelon! Aperol! Highballs! Coconut water! A dirty martini with a CHEESE STUFFED OLIVE! An espresso martini that isn’t an espresso martini but is tropical and citrusy and pineapple-y!

Happy New Year, friends! We missed December class (the holiday season was a blur y’all 😅) but we have new classes coming up this Winter/Spring!

We’re taking a break in January, but class is coming back Wednesday, FEBRUARY 8th, for Highballs! We’ll be covering the traditional Japanese highball and a special BSC version!

ICYMI: now has non-alcoholic cocktails printed on the menu!

While we’ve always been capable of whipping up a non-alcoholic cocktail, it’s extremely important to me, as both an individual and a bar manager, that everyone who walks in our door feels welcomed and seen. You deserve thoughtfully created and well executed options regardless of whether they contain alcohol or not, and to me that means printed items that you can come back and order again and again (just like an alcoholic cocktail list!)

We now have one signature n/a cocktail + a rotating shrub & soda on every cocktail list! As with our cocktails, all ingredients are small batch and made in-house every few days.

Tonight we’re starting a new shrub flavor: Apple-Cardamom with sprinkled cardamom and red pears 🍎🍐
