A lot of coaches think they need to create something completely new before they can launch a group program.

I don't think that's true. You probably already have most of what you need.

Your experience. Your frameworks.

The questions clients keep asking you. The mistakes you've learned to help people avoid.

The process you take people through. The results you've helped create.

The challenge is turning all of that into a clear, structured experience that other people can move through together.

Because there's a big difference between:

“I know a lot about this.” and “I have a program that takes people from where they are to where they want to be.”

That's where the real work starts.

What should the program include?

What should people be able to accomplish by the end?

What belongs in the program — and what doesn't?

How do you keep it valuable without stuffing it with more and more content?

And how do you make the experience work for a group instead of just recreating your 1:1 coaching on a bigger Zoom call?

Those are the questions that can make or break a first group program.

And if building a group program is somewhere on your radar, we're going to dig into exactly this in our upcoming free Group Coaching Masterclass.

No pressure to join — but if you've been thinking, “I know I could help more people, I just don't know how to package it,” this is exactly the kind of thing we'll be talking about.

📅 Tuesday, August 18
⏰ 12:00–1:00 PM CT / 1:00–2:00 PM ET

You can grab your spot through the event form:

The Masterclass reveals the exact blueprint to transform your "time-for-money prison" into a leveraged group “one-to-many” model that delivers better client results, generates $10K-30K per enrollment, with only 2-3 hours of client delivery a week.

One of the biggest mistakes I see coaches make when they start thinking about group coaching:

They assume they need to create something completely new. You probably don't.

If you've been coaching 1:1 for a while, you've already helped people solve problems, get results, and move forward.

The question isn't: "What should I teach?"

It's: "How can I take what I already know and turn it into a repeatable experience that works for a group?"

That's a different way of thinking about your expertise. You're not just selling your time anymore.

You're creating a process that can help multiple people get from where they are to where they want to be.

And that's where group coaching starts to get really interesting.

And eventually, you can hit a pretty frustrating ceiling:

You’re making good money…

…but you’re also working more than you want to. That’s the trap I see a lot of coaches get stuck in. The answer isn’t always getting better at managing more 1:1 clients. Sometimes, it’s changing the model altogether.

Group coaching comes in. One-to-many lets you take what you already know and create an experience where more people can benefit from your expertise without requiring more and more of your time.

Over the next few posts, I’m going to break down some of the things I’ve learned about making that transition. Because you don’t necessarily need more clients. You may need a different way to serve them.

Want to know why clients leave group programs early?

It's rarely about the curriculum.

It's about ONE of these three things 👇

😔 They don't feel seen inside the group
😬 They can't measure their own progress
😤 There's no accountability keeping them on track

Fix these three things? Your clients don't just stay. They renew. They refer. They rave.

Here's something worth sitting with today.

Most coaches pour everything into their curriculum.

The slides. The frameworks. The content.

But walk away wondering why clients aren't getting results.

Here's what they're missing 👇
A curriculum without community is lonely.
A community without accountability is unfocused.
Accountability without curriculum is just pressure.

All three exist for a reason.

And when they work together?

That's when transformation becomes inevitable.

"I can't afford it."

Every coach has heard it.

Most immediately lower the price.

The best coaches? They reframe it. 💡

👇 Try this instead:

"The question isn't whether you can afford it — it's whether this is a priority right now. What would need to shift to make it work?"

That one question changes everything. 🔥

Because "I can't afford it" rarely means they're broke.

It usually means "I don't see the priority yet."

Don't lower your price.

Raise the conversation.

Raise your hand if this sounds familiar 👇 🙋

You became a coach to create freedom.

But instead you got 👇

😓 Back to back 1:1 calls
😰 Revenue that resets every month
😔 No time. No margin. No way out.

You didn't sign up for this.

Here's the truth nobody tells you

Your 1:1 clients aren't the problem.

Staying too long is.

The longer you stay — the harder it becomes to leave.

The coaches who broke free didn't work harder.

They built differently.

And your best clients will follow you into that new model —

If you lead them there. 🚀

Biggest myth in coaching 👇
❌ MYTH: Your credentials are your best marketing tool.
✅ FACT: Clarity of outcome beats credentials every time.

Nobody hires a coach because of a certification.
They hire because they believe one thing —
"This person can get me the result I want."

The difference 👇
❌ "I'm certified in XYZ methodology."
✅ "I help coaches launch $50K group programs in 90 days."

Same coach. Completely different conversion.
Credentials support. Clarity sells.

Community isn't something you add to a group program. It's something you create.

And there's a BIG difference. Adding community looks like a Facebook group nobody uses.

Creating community looks like 👇
Members showing up for each other.
Celebrating wins without being asked.
Problem-solving together at midnight.
Messaging each other like old friends.

One is a feature. The other is transformation.

07/15/2026

Your group coaching clients make a decision in the first 10 minutes.

Not about your content.
Not about your curriculum.
Not about your credentials.

They decide ONE thing 👇
"Do I belong here?"

And if the answer is yes — they show up fully for everything that follows.

If the answer is uncertain — you spend the rest of the program trying to win them back.

Those first 10 minutes are yours to own. Use them wisely.
