PVC Pipes. Wooden Planks. Cardboard Boxes. A Little Chaos. A LOT of Leadership!

Who knew a few ordinary supplies could reveal so much about extraordinary leadership?

At the 2026 Mississippi Postsecondary/Collegiate Fall Leadership Conference, The Vassel Consulting Group challenged students to do more than THINK like leaders. We challenged them to ACT like leaders!

Our workshop, UNSTOPPABLE – The Mindset. The Team. The Mission., turned the room into a playground of possibilities!

The Vassel Consulting Group had an incredible time facilitating the interactive workshop: UNSTOPPABLE - The Mindset. The Team. The Mission at the **MCCB 2026 Mississippi Postsecondary/Collegiate Fall Leadership Conference. **

Students from across Mississippi came together to put their creativity, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to the test. From hands-on challenges to plenty of laughter, these future leaders demonstrated what happens when collaboration meets innovation!

A special thank you to Dr. Valeria Williams and Dr. Kimberly Jones for the invitation and opportunity to be part of this outstanding event. Your dedication, vision, and commitment to developing future leaders continue to set an inspiring example for us all!

Our time with the Metropolitan Inter-faith Association (MIFA) team in Memphis was about putting collaboration into motion, communicating when the plan wasn’t clear, using the strengths around the table, adjusting when something didn’t work, and discovering what a team can accomplish when everyone contributes.

That makes this group especially meaningful. Since 1968, MIFA has been serving the Memphis community and today continues its work supporting the independence of vulnerable seniors and families in crisis.

Great day. Great energy. Great people!

The Tunica County Leadership Academy returned for Session 3—and this time, we didn’t just talk about leadership. We built it, tested it, challenged it, and put it into motion.

From strategic thinking and problem-solving to innovation, collaboration, and doing more with limited resources, these Department Heads were pushed beyond the conference-room conversation and into real-world application.
