👉The clients of mine that are doing great are the ones that understand this. Of course there are different types of marketing, but at the end of the day it’s a numbers game. It takes your average consumer 7-10 times of seeing something before they take action.

I hate when people say “oh I ran a few Facebook ads and digital marketing just doesn’t work”. Huh??????!!! That mindset will get you buried by your competition. Over 20% of small businesses fail within the first year. Closer to 40% fail within 3 years. You want to fail? Do what everyone else is doing.

That’s why I love the multi pronged approach. The more that you can stay in front of potential clients, the better. the key is to stay in front of people and reach people where they are.

As a business owner, here are 4 things you can do RIGHT NOW that will instantly help your business.

1. Ask for google reviews. They are unbelievably important.
2. Make sure that your website can convert people over to actual clients. If you don’t know what I mean by this, reach out to me.
3. Invest in video content and personalized pictures. People do business with other people. People don’t care about how long your company has been around or how big/great you claim it is. They want someone who can solve a problem that they have. They would also prefer doing business with someone that they like. Client testimonial videos and videos/Images that tell a story convert over clients at a 40% higher rate than a stock image.
4. Answer your phone and respond to emails from people reaching out to you. This may sound like common sense, but it’s not to a lot of people. Trust me. Statistically speaking, 85% of the time a person will do business with the first person they talk to that can provide the service or solve the issue that they are having. If you don’t answer your phone, they will immediately go to your competition and they will answer their phone, and you’ve lost them at that point.

In my opinion Nick Saban is the best coach I’ve seen in my lifetime. I’ve watched a lot of interview’s of his and I remember a lot of what he says but I specifically remember him talking about discipline and that discipline is choosing what you need to do, not what you feel like doing.

That mindset isn’t just for football — it applies directly to business.

Discipline is what builds a winning culture and it’s ultimately what sets you apart from everyone else.

👉We have a lady who comes and cleans our house every couple of weeks, and we absolutely love her. We’ve recommended her to family and friends, and everyone says the same thing — she’s amazing.

This morning, as I was heading out the door, I was thinking about why she stands out so much compared to anyone we’ve used in the past. Then I walked into the kitchen and saw her standing at the table coloring with our daughter. (Our 3 year old little girl even loves her).

That pretty much sums it up.

Yes, she does a great job cleaning our home. But more than that, she’s kind, genuine, and she truly cares. Can anyone clean a house? Sure. But very few people bring her demeanor, warmth, and ability to build real relationships with their clients.

It got me thinking from a business standpoint.

Every business sells a product or a service — every single one. The real question is: what sets you apart from everyone else who does what you do?
