This week has been a week of discovHERY and deeper affirmation for me! I've learned things about me that I didn't realize were true.

I've come to the conclusion that I have participated in dimming my own light due to my response to circumstances and people. This has trickled into other aspects of my life. I muted my personality, my wardrobe, and my voice to a certain extent.

My sisters Kesha Haggans and Katherine Moore have been drilling me for the past few months about my "voice" and the value behind it.

This weekend during a GIRLS gathering, my voice was affirmed again. God showed me it's necessity and value on a broader spectrum. I was so humble and moved by words that spoken to me and over me.

I have a saying that if there is one there is two. Meaning I know I'm not the only one who has minimized myself whether intentionally or unintentionally. If that's you, I feel you.

I really don't have many words, been trying to find them all day. For every call, text, Facebook post, individual shout out, word of encouragement, cash app, card, hug, book purchase...THANK YOU. Special thanks to my girls for getting me out of the house with my favorite love language, TACOS, LOL. They know how to woo me!

I was sappy all daggum day and night (late in the midnight hour) with tears and shaking my head at your kind words and the thug has once again left the building LOL.

I often wonder what impact I have and if it's one that will make God smile. I'm thankful that He reminds me just when I need it that He is always shining through me. I shared my book information with a group, and one asked who was Deborah and is she lost? (You have to know them to appreciate this fully LOL I love them dearly!). I said great question!

Here was my answer: Deborah was a military strategist, prophetess and judge in the Bible. The only female judge and amazing leader who helped Israel defeat a ruthless king.
