Back in December when I posted my string quartet arrangement of "Friendly Star" from the motion picture "Summer Stock", I mentioned that this was my very favorite Judy Garland performance.

This arrangement was almost four years in the making; when I arranged this beautiful ballad for string quartet, it wasn't available for publication. But, I checked the title almost every day and it finally appeared!

I consider this work Harry Warren's finest composition, and Judy Garland's performance of it her greatest moment on film!
