Cleaning Coach Josie Helping commercial facilities understand what clean should look like. | 14+ yrs experience

When I walk a facility, I am not there to fail you. I am there to show you what clean should look like, and build the system to maintain it.

That is what my Facility Cleaning Assessment does. I walk your building with you and assess five things in every area.

Condition. What does it look like right now.
Frequency. How often it is actually being cleaned, versus how often it needs it.

Responsibility. Who owns this task, by name.
Procedure. Is there a right way to do it, written down.
Verification. Who checks it, and how often.
You get a clear report. What is working, what needs attention, and what to fix first. No finger pointing. No scare tactics. Just a professional read on your building and a path forward.

This is for restaurants, medical facilities, offices, daycares and schools, and churches. Any facility where clean matters and the current system is not cutting it.

Let me tell you the real math on cheap cleaning contracts.

A facility picks the lowest bid to save money. Six months later the complaints start. Restrooms missed. Trash overflowing by Friday. Floors looking tired. So they switch companies, pay for another startup clean, train another crew, and start the cycle over.

Three cheap contracts in two years cost more than one good contract done right the first time. Every switch costs you a corrective clean to fix what the last crew skipped, plus your time managing the complaints in between.

Cheap is not a price. It is a payment plan with interest, paid in callbacks and complaints.

When you compare bids, compare the scope, not just the number. What is cleaned, how often, who checks it. A bid with no scope is a guess, and guesses get expensive.

Request a consultation and let us build your scope right:

This is Cleaning Coach Josie. The most expensive sentence in facility cleaning is: I thought that was included.

Janitorial service maintains what is already clean. Deep cleaning restores what has been neglected. They are two different services, with two different scopes and two different prices. Most buildings I assess are paying for one and expecting the other.

The fix is a written scope of work that names every task, every frequency, and every area, so nobody is guessing. If you are not sure what your current scope actually covers, send me a message and I will help you find out.

This is Cleaning Coach Josie. Sunday reset thought for every facility manager and owner heading into a new week.

Walk your building tomorrow morning like a customer, not like the person who pays the bills. Start at the front door. Touch the door handles. Use the bathroom. Look up. Your customers experience your building with fresh eyes every single day. You should too, at least once a week.

One fresh-eyes walk a week will show you more than a month of assuming everything is fine. If you want a professional set of fresh eyes, that is what I do. Send me a message.

This is Cleaning Coach Josie. If you are shopping for a cleaning company, ask this one question before you sign anything: what exactly is included in the scope?

If they cannot hand you a written scope with every task, every frequency, and every area listed, walk away. A company with no written scope is selling you a promise, not a service. And when something gets missed, you will have no document to point to.

The second red flag: no quality checks. Ask who inspects the work and how often. If the answer is nobody, you are buying blind. If you want help reviewing a scope before you sign, send me a message.

This is Cleaning Coach Josie. Your customers are doing inspections every day. They just never hand you the report.

They notice the dust on the bathroom door frame. The fingerprints on the glass nobody wiped. The trash can that got emptied but never relined. Small things, and every one of them is telling your customers a story about your standards.

Quality control is simply catching those things before your customers do. A walkthrough with fresh eyes, a short list, and a fix. That is what my Facility Cleaning Assessments are built on. If you want fresh eyes on your building, send me a message.

This is Cleaning Coach Josie. The cleanest buildings I walk into are not the ones with the biggest cleaning budgets. They are the ones with a system that runs without anyone having to remember.

One routine holds almost every building together: a closing checklist that gets signed every single night. Not a mental list. A written one, with a name and a time next to it. When nobody signs off, nobody is accountable, and that is when the corners start getting skipped.

Does your building have a closing routine, or is it running on memory? If you want me to look at your system, send me a message.

This is Cleaning Coach Josie. I spend my days walking through commercial buildings, and I see the same pattern again and again. The front of the house looks beautiful. The back of the house tells the truth.

Restaurant owners and facility managers, what is the one area in your building that your cleaning crew never seems to touch?

Share it in the comments. I read every single one.
