Deer season is right around the corner here in Arkansas and here's a reminder for caping your deer.
Leave plenty of front leg and chest! You can never have to much!! We can always remove what is not needed!
DO NOT cut in the armpits!
With warm temperatures, cape right away and get it to your taxidermist or put in the freezer!
Also on that note, this is a heart breaking thing for me to say but I will only be taking European mounts on any species of animals this year, due to work working out of town and limited time on the weekends with family! I still will be doing any custom work that is wanted for euro mounts!
