Our Machine Stands are built with superior quality in mind. The frame is constructed of 2″ square steel tubing with a strong, non-skid, 3/4″ thick, oak plywood top or 1/2″ thick, blanchard ground steel top. All machine stands have large, easy-roll wheels (two rigid and two swivel/locking) to make them portable, yet secure.

Designing a heat tip for an insert installation application requires careful consideration of several factors, including the heat tip diameter and length in relation to the metal insert being installed. The heat tip stop diameter and profile are critical to achieving a high-quality finished weld. Heat tip nut clearance is also an important design consideration, particularly when weld locations are positioned close to the walls of a plastic housing.
The process becomes increasingly complex when multiple heat tips must operate simultaneously within a single machine cycle. As a result, there are many variables that must be evaluated when developing heat tip tooling for a thermal pressing application.

This vise is a convenient tool for everyday tool changes. It’s excellent for loosening ultrasonic stack connections that are frozen together, either by over-tightening or by fretting of the joint by an unlubricated interface. The vise has three dog-point set screws to engage all spanner holes on your 15 kHz, 20 kHz, or 40 kHz converters and boosters. This eliminates damage or elongation of the spanner holes in the horn, booster or converter.
