Big day moving dirt with the Cat 340 💪 Had a blast helping out Granite State Land Management get this material where it needs to be as they build out more usable space on a house site.

New retaining wall with built-in steps leading up to a paver walkway, then more steps right to the entryway. Not only did it clean up an unusable slope and an old concrete walkway and entryway - it made the front entrance clean and walkable year-round.

Here’s some project highlights:
🔹 New French drain system
🔹 Drip edge along the roofline for water runoff
🔹 Open-graded base
🔹 Permeable joint sand throughout

This means that water doesn’t sit anywhere near the wall, walkway, or steps. It drains right through and away 👌

Finished it off with loam and seed so it’s ready to grow in 👍

Huge overhaul on the outdoor hangout space with the new retaining wall and patio build we just completed.

We incorporated steps down from the patio as well as 3-sided steps going up to the entry way - all completed with step lighting and inset lights running on the border of the patio by the wall caps.

We also installed 6 frost posts for a pergola and ran conduit to service power for a future hot tub. What an awesome transformation 👍

Project spotlight: Bear Bungalow Airbnb 🚧

New driveway cut in and parking area built with compacted ledge pack for a solid, all-weather surface. Added a ditch line and swales with erosion stone to handle water runoff that was causing issues before.

Custom shed build site work: Start to finish ✅

That’s a wrap on this one. We provided the entire site package:

Shed is built and looking good! We’re busy with cleanup and adding the finishing touches - more stone, parking pad, and granite steps 👍

Footer work done. Downpour rain tried. We won. 💪

This week we dug footer trenches and set 15 frost posts for a custom shed, then installed the carrying beams so it’s ready for the builders. Also ran a utility trench and installed conduit to bring power out to the new shed.

Mother Nature threw us a curveball with an unexpected 2 day downpour, flooding the trenches… We pumped them out (multiple times), redug everything back to grade, installed and compacted base stone to get everything ready for inspection. Footers and trench/conduit inspection good to go 👍

No shortcuts. Just solid work ready for framing and power.

We’ll be working on site restoration, a stone apron install around the shed after it’s built, and building a nice parking pad in front of the shed to really transform the space.
