OUTAGE (6 am) - WYLIE AREA
Members in the South Abilene (Wylie) area will experience an outage starting around 6 a.m. on Sunday, August 23 as crews make critical repairs to equipment at the substation serving the area. Our staff has identified equipment that must be repaired now to ensure it can continue operating safely. To finish repairs, the affected area must be temporarily de-energized. We estimate the outage to start around 6 a.m. and last a couple of hours.
Members who may be affected are located in the South Abilene area, south of Loop 322 between Hwy 83/84 and Buffalo Gap Road, extending south to just past Re*****on Rd. (includes Re*****on Estates). Some parts of Clark Rd. (east of Hwy 83/84) will also be affected.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as crews work. The safety of our members, community and crews is our top priority.
We will provide any updates as work progresses on this post.
