I will never tire of these precious moments that I have the privilege of capturing. Two people (one of them taken completely off guard!), very much in love, starting the rest of their lives together. You can almost see the world revolving around just them in this moment, like human fireworks. Good job, Piotr! You and Natalia deserve a wonderful long, loving life together!

When I was a wee lad sitting in the dentist waiting room, my favorite part of Highlights Magazine was Double Check, aka Spot The Difference. Now, as an overgrown wee lad, I love to see the progress I make when retouching my portraits, from in-camera to post-produced. I strive to make my clients look their best, but there's always something that can be zhuzhed or removed to improve the final results. See if you can "Spot the Difference" in these two portraits I just shot for a law client.....aaah, simpler times!

Our kittens are not such little babies anymore! I was in the middle of shooting some flat lay for a local men's clothing store when these three snuck in to see where the flashing lights were coming from. Little did they know, they quickly became the focus of the shoot. Meet Duncan, Finnegan and Pixie!

Long time no see! I only post when something unusual or special happens. Yesterday was one such day. It was our 22nd wedding anniversary! And how did we celebrate? By having dinner at the oldest continuously open restaurant and bar in NYC: Pete's Tavern. BUT before we could enjoy a nice meal and a few delicious drinks, I had to photograph a surprise engagement session two blocks away in the exclusive locale of Gramercy Park. In the shadow of the statute of legendary 19th century actor Edwin Booth (his brother John Wilkes was pretty famous, too), Preston got down on one knee and asked his Sophie to be his wife. It was a gorgeous moment. One for the memory books!
