Professional Experience: I want to take a moment to introduce myself, I completed a Doctorate of Operations Research in May 2003. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, and an MBA from Embry Riddle. Before I embarked on my teaching career, I was employed in private industry by Rockwell Collins, as well as other Fortune 500 companies, in Quality Engineering and other engineering and management positions. I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and an Adjunct Math Instructor at Brevard Community College. I am a senior of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and member of the Society of Women Engineers, where I have served as Membership Chairperson (1996 - 1997). I have held numerous offices with the American Society of Quality (co-Chairperson for 1995 and 1997 and Chair for the 1999 Quality Conference). I have served on the National Conference of Standards Laboratories (Chairperson for Honor & Awards; 1996 - 2002; and Chairperson for Personal Training Requirements, 1998-2002). I am a Member of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). I teach courses in Quantitative Methods and Statistics, Operations Research and Management Science, Structure and Applications of Analytical Decision Processes for Managers I/II, Management of Research and Development for Aviation and Aerospace Industry, Production Operations Management, and Philosophy, Principles and Practices in Management of Quality and Mathematics. My research interests are in Queuing and Statistics. I am a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, a Certified Manager of Quality/Org. Excellence, a Certified Reliability Engineer, a Certified Software Quality Engineer, a Certified Quality Engineer, and a Certified Quality Auditor. I love sports and I love to fly the airplane, but I am not addicted to it
