📬 Special Delivery! 📬

This week, our Preschool children learned all about how the mail works. They created and mailed letters to their peers and families, and our staff surprised them by writing letters back! The excitement on their faces when they received their mail at the end of the week was priceless. What a fun way to build literacy skills, practice communication, and spread kindness throughout our school community! 💌

📚✨ Our Kindergarten Prep classrooms worked together to create our classroom promises for the year!

Instead of a long list of rules, we came up with three important questions to guide our choices each day:

💙 Is my body safe? 🧩 Are my materials safe? 😊 Are my feelings safe?

These simple questions help us build a classroom community where children feel respected, responsible, and ready to learn. When children take ownership of their actions, they develop confidence, kindness, and problem-solving skills that will help them throughout their school journey.

We're excited for a year filled with learning, growing, and making safe, thoughtful choices together! 🌟

Our toddlers had a blast exploring art in a unique way today! 🎨💦 Using paintbrushes and water, they created beautiful masterpieces on the chalkboard. This simple activity encouraged creativity, fine motor development, and plenty of smiles along the way! 😊

The children participated car races to see how far each car could travel. Using measuring tapes, they measured the distance their cars traveled from the ramps. Through this hands-on experience, the children are developing an understanding of early math concepts and vocabulary such as distance, measurement, longer, shorter, and farther. They also practiced comparing results and using measurement tools to gather information.

Our Preschool children explored how different heights, textures, and objects affect the distance items roll. They measured and marked distances on a runway, compared results, and recorded their observations. Some children also designed and built their own ramps, testing and improving their creations through the engineering design process. This hands-on investigation encouraged critical thinking, problem-solving, prediction-making, and an understanding of cause-and-effect relationships.

Our 2 year old campers have had an amazing time exploring the great outdoors right inside the classroom! 🌲⛺ Through dramatic play, the children set up camp, gathered around a pretend campfire, told stories, packed their camping gear, and worked together on exciting outdoor adventures.

This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, problem-solving, language development, and togetherness while sparking imaginations and a love for nature.

This week, our Preschool 2 class is exploring the exciting world of outer space! As part of their learning, the children participated in a fun movement activity where they stretched, balanced, and strengthened their bodies through space-themed yoga poses. From reaching high like rockets blasting into space to twinkling like stars, the children used their imaginations while developing coordination, balance, and body awareness.
We love combining learning and movement to create engaging experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. We can't wait to see where their outer space adventure takes them next! 🌎🪐⭐️🚀
