The Miami Vice Tropics basketball team had an unforgettable weekend at the State Games hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex — bringing home gold in both the 5v5 Unified and Individual Skills competitions.

This past weekend, Tracy and Joshua traded the office for the open water at the 29th Annual Key West Paddle Classic. They tackled the grueling 12-mile circumnavigation of the island as a team in the OC-2 division. While the conditions were about as good as they get, the ocean side still threw enough side chop at us to “crush a whale”—or at least test every ounce of our resolve.
A huge thank you to the race organizers and the sponsors who make this iconic community event possible. We especially want to thank the hotels that hosted us on race day; we started and finished at the Beachside Resort, and the Blue Flamingo for the awards and immediate after-party were great changes to this years event.
We are thrilled to have completed the course together and have already locked in our registration for next year’s race. While the events were held in Key West, we chose to stay at Grassy Flats Resort in Marathon. We always look forward to a great dinner on the Palm Deck after a rewarding day on the water.

Last week was full of momentum and community.

We kicked things off in Philadelphia at the Spring Forum. A few days filled with meetings, conversations, and time spent with the people who set the standard in CRE. Congratulations to all of the new designees!

A huge congratulations to our newest team member, .cre who also earned her designation at the forum. A well-earned milestone and a strong step forward in her career.

On Friday we supported the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament in Doral. It was a great day of camaraderie and giving back to the industry and community.

The week wrapped up on the court where and coached their Special Olympics basketball team to another win, and every athlete put points on the board. We’re inspired by their teamwork, dedication, and passion for the game.

We’re energized by the connections we’ve made, the milestones we celebrated, and the impact we’re making in our community.

Excited for what’s next!

What stood out—without ever needing to be said—was the power of coopetition. This past Saturday, Kohn Commercial Real Estate celebrated World Inclusion Day with our local Special Olympics basketball competitions.

Tracy and Joshua volunteer-coach with the Miami Vice Tropics teams. The athletes gave great performances in the skills, 3v3 and 5v5 competitions. We’re inspired by their teamwork, grit, and joy. Best of luck at Regionals on April 4th, we’ll be cheering every step of the way.
