HOW MANY SAVES??
I've been noticing a gang of Artist invest in Playlist Promotions on Spotify.
So I want to know..
How many listeners from the Thousands of streams you got actually saved your song or added it to their personal playlist?
Do you know? Did you check?
Or are you scared to face the truth that your plays may actually be fake?
It's cool because you're getting a payout for them right?
Until Spotify's security team disables your song or worse your account.
When potential new fans hear a song they enjoy, they tend to save it, adding it to their libraries and playlist and will even replay it a few times if it's really dope.
These actions are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT because they set off Spotify's algorithms and can get your music considered to be placed on bigger playlist.
Spotify branded playlists, the ones they make, the ones they ACTUALLY promote to their userbase, resulting in a gang of new STREAMS, real STREAMS that will convert into NEW FANS!
If you disregard this process you won't ever see real success on the platform.
I've never understood the concept of having fake numbers on any platform....
Can someone please make it make sense for me?
I've never met an artist that consistently booked paid shows, features or got a legit deal from fake streams.
But.....
I HAVE seen artists with under 10K followers on IG lock in brand deals worth over $60K on one deal and almost $10K on another.....
He has a real audience and has real direction.
90% of all rappers have the same mentality and they all constantly get ripped off buying into scams looking for instant gratification.
You guys pay to perform at open mics, buy fake followers, pay for $10 playlist adds from Fiverr, but NEVER take the time out to learn the BUSINESS and how to GROW a fanbase.
You can redeem yourself, you can LEARN how to do things the right way!
