🌻 WHAT IS A CERTIFIED RECOVERY PEER SPECIALIST (CRPS)? 🌻

A Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) is someone certified through the Florida Certification Board (FCB) who uses their lived experience, training, and recovery journey to support, encourage, and guide others 💛

At Bridge & Bloom, peer support is rooted in compassion, connection, and understanding — because sometimes healing starts with talking to someone who truly gets it 🌱

Under the Florida Certification Board (FCB), CRPS professionals are trained to:
✨ Provide peer support & encouragement
✨ Help connect individuals and families to community resources
✨ Support goal setting and recovery planning
✨ Promote self-advocacy & empowerment
✨ Encourage wellness, hope, and stability
✨ Help reduce isolation through meaningful support

Peer Support Specialists do NOT replace therapists or doctors — we work alongside individuals to help them feel supported, connected, and empowered throughout their journey 💚
