Philippians 4: 12-14….For way TOO many years of my life I was always seeking happiness & validation from items, other people, money, cars, etc. I really only knew how to “make do” with a lot. I always believed the more you could accumulate the happier you’d be. I see this all over social media. People constantly needing to show what they have to seek validation. I know this because I was that person and in some ways still am that person. Every day I am working to become a better version of myself while balancing it all, focusing on giving back more, spending time with my kids, learning his word, walking it out daily all while understanding yes you need to push to gain more business, yes you need to produce to make a living but this round the outward effort feels different, more aligned which often can bring “slower results”. The implementation of this verse of me, is that you need to learn to be fulfilled, happy and grateful in all stages of life. Why? Because the lord is with you at all times. He strengthens us.
